The "Kitchen Nightmares" production company and chef Gordon Ramsay return to Providence and Downcity restaurant to film a follow-up to the TV show that aired in March.
Co-owner (and TV star playing a restaurant villain) Abby Cabral said the producers have confirmed July 5 as the filming date. Diners are invited to make dining reservations for that Tuesday if they want their chance to be on camera or see the celebrity chef in action.
"They will be filming all day and night," Cabral said. The producers left often the possibility for a second day of filming but that is not certain.
"We are still using the new menus that he left us," she said. And they still have the same executive chef James M. Bjurman (right).
Ramsay "wants to see how we are doing," Cabral said.
She recently sought Ramsay's approval for her new summer menu which has lots of fresh seafood, lobster and more.
The revisit will air in the new fall season of Fox's "Kitchen Nightmares" the producer told Cabral, probably in September or October.
