FOXBORO, Mass. -- Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, will host The Great American Food and Music Fest on Saturday, June 26 from noon to 10:30 p.m. But forget the music, look at this cool lineup of food people who will demo dishes.
Food Network star Paula Deen will be there. So will restaurateur Tom Colicchio, lead judge of Bravo's "Top Chef;" Pat and Gina Neely, co-owners of Neely's Bar-B-Q and hosts of Food Network's "Down Home with the Neelys;" and "Ace Of Cakes" Food Network star and master baker Duff Goldman.
The festival will include a tasting area, for an additional cost, that will offer American wines and beers and the insights of of one of my faves, Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV.
Local restaurants will also participate, and that list hasn't been introduced yet.
The live music line-up comes from New Orleans legends Buckwheat Zydeco, Melinda Doolittle, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, and the Stompers.
Tickets will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster or charge by phone at (800) 745-3000.
General admission tickets start at $32.50 through May 20 then go up to $42.50; and cost $52.50 the day of the event.
Parking is included in the price of the ticket and children under 10 are free.
VIP ticketing ncludes private catering, unlimited food /beverages, and talent meet-and-greets.
