The Napa Valley Grille at Providence Place closed on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Speaking on behalf of the restaurant, Rick Simone said it was a corporate decision not to renew the lease at Providence Place. Business has been declining over the past three years, he said, but seemed on the upswing in recent months.
The restaurant opened 10 years ago and offered a lovely option for dining for all ages and food preferences in an elegant setting.
The owners are Tavistock Restaurants, which continue to operate three Napa Valley Grilles in Paramus, N.J.; Bloomington, Minn.; and Westwood, Calif. Tavistock owns more than half a dozen restaurant groups.
