Andreas Restaurant, 268 Thayer St., Providence, (401) 331-7879, andreasri.com, will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and opens for dinner on Christmas Day at 5 p.m.

Asterisk Restaurant, 599 Thames St., Newport, (401) 841-8833, asterisknewport.com is open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, serving a holiday menu along with the regular menu from noon to 9 p.m.

Audrey's Restaurant at the Johnson & Wales Inn, 213 Taunton Ave., Seekonk, Mass., (508) 336-4636, jwinn.com, offers dinner on Christmas Eve from 4 to 8 p.m. Choose from regular menu entrees or special entrees such as roasted prime rib, baked stuffed lobster or surf and turf with lobster and prime rib. Reservations required.

The Bay Voyage Inn, 150 Conanicus Ave., Jamestown, (401) 423-2100, will serve a holiday buffet on Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $47.95, $15.95 for children under 10. Children under 3 eat free.

The Blue Grotto Restaurant, 210 Atwells Ave., Providence, bluegrottorestaurant.com (401) 272-9030 offers La Vigilia on Christmas Eve.

The Boat House, 227 Schooner Drive, Tiverton, (401) 624-6300, boathousetiverton.com will serve its full dinner menu on Christmas Eve until 8 p.m.

Café Fresco, 301 Main St., East Greenwich, (401) 398-0027, cafefrescori.com will offer its regular dinner menu on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day beginning at 5 p.m.

Café Paragon, 234 Thayer St., Providence, (401) 331-6200, paragonandviva.com, will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Christmas Day from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. The dinner menu will be offered both days.

Carrie's Restaurant, 1035 Douglas Ave., Providence, (401) 831-0066, will be open Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is takeout for the entire menu, which includes snail salad, baccala, calamari and other seafood items.

Castle Hill Inn & Resort, 590 Ocean Drive, Newport, (401) 849-3800, castlehillinn.com, will feature a three-course dinner on Christmas Eve from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. for $69 and a four-course dinner on Christmas Day from 2 to 5 p.m. for $75, tax and gratuity additional.

CAV, 14 Imperial Place, Providence, (401) 751-9164, cavrestaurant.com, is open on Christmas Eve for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 4 to 10 p.m.

Clarke Cooke House, Bannister's Wharf, Newport, (401) 849-2900, clarkecooke.com, will serve lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. Christmas Eve and dinner only on Christmas Day, also from 5 to 10 p.m.

Shelter Harbor Inn, 10 Wagner Rd., Westerly, (401) 322-8883, shelterharborinn.com, offers a four-course fixed-price Christmas Dinner served from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The menu features a choice of two soups, a house salad, a choice of entrees (roast duckling, roast tenderloin of beef, horseradish crusted salmon or brined rack of pork) and a choice of four desserts for $38, $18 for children under 12.

Toscana Lounge in Main Street Coffee, 137 Main St., East Greenwich, (401) 885-8787, will open Christmas Eve and New Year's evenings at 6.

Wildfire, 1874 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, (401) 353-7110, wildfirenp.com, will offer the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve. Patrons can choose from the a la carte menu or the family-style fixed-price ($24.95) menu. Reservations strongly suggested. All take-out orders must be placed by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 22, and picked up by 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24.

Zooma Bar-Ristorante, 245 Atwells Ave., Providence, (401) 383-2002, zoomari.net, will serve La Vigilia on Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $39.

Mohegan Sun's restaurants and buffets will open over the holidays. Here are the details:

On Christmas Eve, Seasons Buffet will offer a buffet full of entrees and desserts for $16.98, plus tax and will be served from 11 a.m. to 10pm. The breakfast buffet runs 7:30-11 a.m.

On Christmas Day, Todd English's Tuscany has a chef tasting menu at $47. Dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Longhouse will feature Surf & Turf for $55 from 5-10 p.m.

Birches Bar & Grill starts has a Christmas Day special at $39.95 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m.

Pompeii & Caesar will serve a Bone-In Veal Chop with risotto for $48; Pan-Seared Lobster Tail with linguini $39; dessert included. Open from 5-10 p.m.

Sunburst Buffet will feature dishes on Christmas Day that include Pumpkin Ravioli with Brown Sage Butter and Tuscan Chicken with Broccoli & Penne or swordfish and shrimp. The buffet will be offered at $19.81, plus tax and will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
