Mutant squash from the garden

My daughter brought over a squash from a plant in her garden that wishes it made lemons, and tries, left. We paired it with the Siamese-twin squash at right from our garden.

Even when cut it remained snowman-shaped.

Sauteed in olive oil, garlic, and fresh thyme with green beans and beet greens, both squash were tasty. You'd never know it was a dish full of mutants.
