USA Today's travel page puts the spotlight on honey today. Of course, the whole food world is worries about declining honeybee populations. So the national newspaper gave Bruce Boynton, the CEO of the National Honey Board, a forum to celebrate all things honey. He was asked to share his list of sweet places to enjoy honey.

And there on the list was Providence's own Gracie's. Chef Joe Hafner, features honey regularly on his menu as part of his seasonal, local tastings.

"He drizzles wildflower honey from Massachusetts on a beet salad with roasted pecans," the article says. "He dishes up a honey beer bread made from Smuttynose India pale ale and honey," it goes on. "And he roasts stone fruits with honey from Honig Vineyard in Napa Valley."
